This life-size Comet Moth has textile wings, a flocked clay body, and feather antenna. Under domed glass, this faux-taxidermy sculpture could pass for a real specimen. Unlike a real specimen though, this one will not fade with time. The antique frame is likely from the early 1900s and is made from plaster, wood, and glass.
